Dr.Deirdre Barret a clinical and Evolutionary Psychologist at Harvard Medical School claims that dogs most likely dream about their everyday experiences , as we humans do. He has studied the sleeping behaviors in people for years and claims that human dream the same things that they are interested during the day and the same goes for the dogs.
She said for Poeple: “There’s no reason to think animals are any different. Since dogs are generally extremely attached to their human owners, it’s likely your dog is dreaming of your face, your smell and of pleasing or annoying you.”
According to the psychologist there is not known exactly what dogs are dreaming about, however just the thought that dogs can really dream about their closed and loved ones it’s enough to make all the dog lovers happy. To the pet parents Barrett offers the best advice , who want their dogs to dream of happy dreams.
“The best way to give ourselves or our children better dreams is to have happy daytime experiences and to get plenty of sleep in a safe and comfortable environment,” she said. “It’s a good bet this is also best for pets’ dreams.”There was a tweet, a man tweeted a few pictures of his dog dreaming , he looks at his dog and starts crying. If you see your dog with their legs moving in a running motion while sleeping , chances are that they are dreaming of that game of fetch that you played with them.
